Registration for our winter-spring courses and trips is now open.
Catalogs for winter/spring have been mailed to area homes throughout Glen Rock and neighboring towns with anticipated delivery the week of January 5. Classes begin in January and continue throughout the winter and spring.
Many after-school activities for children have been added including Beginning Sewing, Telling Tales Fantasy Writing, Boosting the Basics writer’s workshop, Keyboarding, Clay Creations, Mad Science and private instrument lessons. Evening and Saturday programs for children include Boys Spring Basketball, Girls Spring Basketball, Basketball for Grades K-2, Coed Speed Training, and Drawing classes for children and teens.
Classes for adults include The Basics of Investing, Graphic Design, American Sign Language, Start Your Own Business, Savvy Social Security Planning, Powerpoint, Quickbooks, Ballroom Dancing, Guitar, How to Face the Job Market and Be Successful, Working with Color, Stretch & Flexibility, Yoga and Zumba.
Senior classes include Writing your Memoir’s, the new BOSU Exercise Class, Fitness for the Young at Heart, Standing Pilates, Zumba Gold and Chair Yoga.
Theater goers can enjoy trips and tix to “Newsies” and “Wicked” on Broadway, and “South Pacific” at the Papermill Playhouse, among others. They've also expanded their lineup of daytime trips in the tristate area to include a tour of Yankee Stadium with lunch along Arthur Avenue, a tour of the Culinary Institute of America along with a Hudson River cruise, and many more. Extended trips will travel near and far to Nashville, Ottawa, the Biltmore Estate, and a tour of France that includes Paris, the Loire Valley and Normandy.
