Registration for our Winter/Spring courses and trips is now open!

We welcome you to the Glen Rock Community School Winter/Spring, 2015 semesters. We hope you enjoy browsing through our brochure of courses, trips and shows.

We're again offering many after-school activities for children including Boosting the Basics Writing program, Keyboarding, Mad Science and private instrument lessons. We're adding a Study Skills class for grades 5-8. Evening and Saturday programs for children include Boys and Girls Basketball, Little Ball Handling Wizards for Grades K-2, Coed Speed Training, and Nothing But Net Shooting Clinic. Our Ballet School is back for its 34th year.
Classes for adults include A seminar for First Time Home Buyers, Computer Classes, Yoga, Zumba,  Guitar, American Sign Language, Savvy Social Security Planning, Ballroom Dancing, Intro to Poker, Mandarin Chinese, Watercolor Painting, Digital Photography, French, Italian, and Square Dancing.
Senior classes include the new BOSU Exercise Class, Standing Pilates, Zumba Gold and various Bridge classes.
Theater goers can enjoy trips and tix to “Beautiful,” "Jersey Boys," Honeymoon in Vegas," On the Town," and the Radio City Spring Spectacular.  We've expanded our lineup of daytime trips in the tri-state area to include a tour of the 9/11 Memorial Museum, the Philadelphia Flower Show, West Point Tour and Lunch, a Tour of Drumthwacket and lunch at the Nassau Inn, plus many more. 

Extended trips will travel near and far to Branson, Mo., Boston, New York Finger Lakes, Cape Cod and Mackinac Island and beautiful Northern Michigan.

Transitional Kindergarten
The Glen Rock Community School will launch a new Transitional Kindergarten program in the fall of 2015. All aspects of the program have been designed to meet the needs of children who would benefit from another year to develop emotionally, socially and academically before entering Kindergarten. Summer Camps
Our Summer Camp season for 2015 is now registering!
Believe it or not, summer will be here before we know it!
We look forward to seeing all the campers back again this year when we'll bring back many of your favorites... offer some great enhancements to others... and add several new and exciting choices - all of which adds up to another summer of fun that's never ending! Square Foot Gardening
This one-session class is available on Thursday, March 5 or Wednesday, April 8, 7-9:30 p.m. Please see Page 22 of our Winter/Spring catalog for more details.
Pull Up A Chair
Due to a conflict in the instructor's schedule, this class is being cancelled for both the winter and spring.

Sparks After School Enrichment
The Glen Rock Community School is pleased to announce our winter/spring line-up of After School activities. Please click here for a brief overview of all we have to offer.
Space is limited. Enrollment begins Monday, Jan. 5 at 9 a.m.
Girls Leadership Institute
NEW DATES: April 23, April 30, May 7 and May 14. The Glen Rock Community School is pleased to host a special workshop of the Girls Leadership Institute. For over 10 years, this non-profit organization has offered leadership development for girls through programs designed to assist them in becoming more emotionally intelligent, resilient and confident.

This workshop is limited in enrollment to 15 fourth or fifth grade girls and an adult partner.

Boston Trip Dates
The extended trip to Boston, Salem and the North Shore will now run from Friday, June 5 to Monday, June 8, 2015.
